Does BizPilot work with ChatGPT, or is it its own AI?

BizPilot is its own AI platform — not ChatGPT. It runs on Claude (built by Anthropic), but what makes it different is what we've built on top: 20 years of domain knowledge baked in for each profession, collective outcome intelligence from the contractor network, and The Advisor that proactively spots what you're missing. You don't need a ChatGPT account or any other AI subscription.

Is my data private? Do other contractors see my conversations?

Your conversations are private to your account. The only data shared with the network is supplement outcomes you voluntarily log — and those are always anonymized before aggregation. No individual contractor can see another's conversations, job details, or identifying information.

Can I cancel anytime?

Accepted Answer

Yes — cancel anytime from your billing settings. No long-term contracts. If you cancel, you keep access until the end of your current billing period.

How is BizPilot different from just using ChatGPT?

Accepted Answer

ChatGPT knows roofing the way a Wikipedia article knows roofing. BizPilot knows it the way a 20-year restoration veteran knows it — exact Xactimate line item names, IRC code sections, carrier-specific approval patterns, and word-for-word adjuster scripts. Plus the Collective Outcome Intelligence network tells you what's actually getting approved with your carrier in your state right now. ChatGPT can't do that.

I have a roofing business AND an HVAC business. Can I use both?

Yes — Pro and Pro Plus plans include all six trades. Switch between them using the vertical selector in the sidebar, the same way you'd switch models in another AI tool.

What happens to my conversations if I cancel?

Your conversations are available to download from Settings → Data before you cancel. After cancellation, conversations are retained for 30 days before deletion in case you reactivate.

Can my team use BizPilot?

Accepted Answer

BizPilot subscriptions are per-account, not seat-based. If you have a crew or practice that wants to use BizPilot together, each professional should hold their own Pro or Pro Plus subscription — keeping conversations, outcomes, and Advisor alerts personal to how each user works. Pro Plus ($99/month) adds The Advisor, which sends weekly proactive alerts about gaps in your specific job patterns.
